In 2006, I had an Idea...

The idea was "How about I get a website and document the restoration of my 1966 bug". That would be cool right?
Well, now 5 years later thebugproject.com is still sitting here just like my bug. The dust has been building on the car and also on the server. Here is my 3 part plan.

1) Restore this bug with the most attention to detail possible.

2) To the best of my ability I want this project to help others with their own restorations. Using all the fun new technology available to me with still images, videos, and diagrams.

3) I want this to pay for itself, yep pay for itself. Using affiliate programs, donations, or sponsors.

Are you wondering "How the heck are you going to pull that off?". I sure hope you are. This is all new to me too. So I will rely on the whole, "If there's a will, there's a way" plan. No doubt that stranger things have happened.
